American Atheists has produced the Atheist Viewpoint for several years. This television show was originally aired only by mailing tapes to sponsors nationwide to be aired on local cable TV stations. Now, these episodes can also be viewed on-line as well. The show is co-hosted by David Silverman and Dennis Horvitz, and the show concentrates on current events from an atheist point of view. Most shows are serious in nature, and sometimes have guest speakers, including authors and public figures. Atheist Viewpoint is currently aired in 21 states. Check the ">listing for times and channels in your area. If it is not currently available in your area, you can sponsor the program.

Atheist Experience is is a weekly cable access television show in Austin, Texas geared at a non-atheist audience. Every week we field live calls from atheists and believers alike, and you never know what you're going to get! Sometimes it can get quite feisty indeed! You don't want to miss it. You can watch it on ustream, or you can directly stream Public Access Ch 16 from Channel Austin's server without IRC here. These channels can be found in the Austin area on Time Warner Cable or Grande Communications cable stations in the Austin area (with the same channel number). They are on Sundays 4:30 to 6:00 pm CST (22:30-24:00 UTC). Currently, they are not syndicated, but getting it shown in your town is not impossible. Locally access channels are usually looking for content. Check to see if your city has such channel. Contact them and find out the technical requirements for submitting content. Often, it's just a matter of getting them a playable DVD. Don't assume it's too complicated. Once you've checked with your local TV station, contact the Atheist Community of Austin and they will help make that happen.
