Fight Voucher Schemes

These unconstitutional gifts of public money to religious organizations have been called by many names; "vouchers", "charitable choice", "access grants", "tax credits" and others.

In April of 2006, the Maine Supreme Court affirmed its decision against religious school vouchers by refusing to hear a challenge from parents in that state. As of 5/2006, these kinds of diversions of public funds are still being used in Cleveland, OH, Milwaukee, WI and by the state of Florida. Beyond stopping these current violations, we need federal laws to insure that these abuses never return, in any form.
